The underside line: For better or worse, the iPod touching is clearly the iPhone's babe brother. If you happen yourself dazzled by the Web, picture and music capablenesses of the iPhone but can't stomach the contract commitment, the iPod touching might be just what you're looking for. The underside line: This is one of the best mobile distractions money can buy. The bad: Earphone cablegram very short even with included extender; arrangement of the clasp button on the dorsum of the participant neither convenient nor ergonomic; no frequency modulation tuner, voice recording equipment or memory enlargement slot.

The underside line: Offers a antic display, glossy designing and interface, and a leading battery life - plus, it's one of the few MP3 participants that sound great right out of the box. It come ups with high-quality earphones. Zune (80 GB)

The bad: PC-only; necessitates its ain software; proprietary USB connection; no Wi-Fi music streaming.

The price: $250

The underside line: This second-generation participant cuts a much slimmer figure than its bricklike aged brother. With a new design, higher capacity, radio sync capability, bigger silver screen and incorporate support for audio and picture podcasts, the Zune is finally a true option to the iPod.
