Blogitive Directory Network - A New Way For Blogger's To Make Money!

Blogitive is just a great way to make money by providing advertisers with a review within your ublog. Blogitive however is taking some additional steps to shift away from its fierce competition and that is by incorporating a newly announced Directory Network recently to provide bloggers an additional way to make more money. How does it work? Let's dive into it a little bit.

Although the Blogitive Directory Network does seem to be a promising solution for Wordpress users and web site owners but for the rest of us who uses free blogger sites this solution does not seem to geared toward our side of the market. However, we are still qualified to do the traditional reviews for advertisers through Blogitive. It's the core business for Blogitive so far and there are many other sites that also provide similar tasks for bloggers to make money through reviewing an advertiser's site or service through their blog.

Now moving back to Blogitive Directory Network. It's designed for Wordpress users and it is a very easy and free solution to monetize without doing mch work at all! Yes, literally without doing anything at all. The basic concept of Blogitive Directory Network revolves around the idea that advertisers would pay for links toward Wordpress bloggers on their web site in an annual basis. Bloggers would then get to set their own price and adjust them as they wish once a year. It is suggested by Blogitive that links should be priced initially at around $10 per year since this program has just being launched. However that is not to say that if your blog has a higher traffic of visitors that you should settle less. Obviously if your blog has a higher traffic of visitors or page rank, you would then charge at a higher premium.

How the end profit split is simple, 85% of the earnings is passed to the blogger and 15% is left for Blogitive. Since Blogitive has only launched this program officially by providing users with offers starting this week, it is still young. So, be sure to register yourself with Blogitive if you have a Wordpress blog so you can be the first ones to be reviewed by the advertisers. As time passes, we can anticipate that the competition with other bloggers would definitely get more fierce and that will makes your blog's visibility decrease. Do be sure to take advantange of it as soon as possible if you are a blogger and get paid for the full potential of its worth.

It is Time to Find the Experts on the Internet

We all know that there is significant garbage on the Internet and we know that sometimes it is difficult to find what we are looking for. Is there a way to find the experts on the Internet by using some sort of specially designed program on the Internet to find them, like a search engine brings back results? I believe there is and others also believe the same thing, as this has become a dialogue at the top online article submission website's Blog-Forum.

In fact, I have already started designing plans to do just that and it is not as if I had not considered this the prior, I have some 2 dozen articles on similar topics of finding all the geniuses on the internet, of course this is for our Online Think Tank, but I have been doing personal experiments to weed out false positives, with some relevant success. It may now be possible to sift thru the written works on the Internet and weed out the posers, BS'ers, trinket sellers and key-word article writers trying to sell stuff using Google's AdSense.

If some of the smartest people in the world can use computer systems to find terrorists, certainly we can locate and identify the experts. In fact, I have some contacts in Florida, who have huge databases of experts. Also I have read some very interesting research papers done by the University of Florida on this subject and located a huge source of funding already allotted for a very similar mission. Predicting what experts will do in various situations based on training and various scenarios.

Some might debate that the ideas and theories on how to find experts on the Internet may not work or the ideas are too wild. Indeed, but sometimes the ideas in brainstorming are of value and in this case, I believe some of the thoughts are worthy to consider. And I think we are getting closer to making such a dream into a reality.

Fast Blog Traffic Four Ways- Boost Your Traffic In Days

Your blog's set up, you've made some posts, and now you're ready for readers. How quickly you get blog traffic and readers is up to you - you need to promote your blog. Once you do, you'll see your traffic statistics gradually rising.

Let's look at four ways which will help you to get an ever-increasing flow of traffic to your blog.

1. Write Articles And Post Them To Article Directories

Web site owners are always looking for content for their sites, and article directories exist to provide that content. Write several articles, and post them to article directories for others to use.

Vital: spend some time crafting an effective "Bio Box". This encourages people to actually visit your blog. However, don't use the space for a bio. The people reading your article need a reason to visit your blog, so rather than telling them about you, tell them what great information you have waiting for them on your blog - give them reasons to click your links.

2. Post To Your Blog Every Day - The More Content, The More Traffic

The more pages (blog posts) on your blog, the more opportunities you have to be found via the search engines, so don't stint on creating interesting content for your blog. Try to post to your blog every day. If that's not possible, post at least a couple of times a week.

3. Ping Religiously - Set Up A Ping List In Your Blog

"Pinging" sends a message to blogging servers that you've updated your blog, and most blogging platforms have lists of these servers built in. Check out your blog's configuration (see the Help file) to check which services your blog is already pinging when you make a post.

There are lots of pinging services, do a search for them. You can beef up your own ping list in your blog, but don't be excessive - you don't want to be accused of spamming.

4. Link, Link, Link! The More You Link, The More Traffic You Get

Link to other blogs and Web sites as appropriate. Your aim is to become known in your particular niche, and when you link to others, they will often link to you, which brings you traffic.

4. Use Social Bookmarking Sites - But Don't Overdo it

It seems as if there's a new social bookmarking site being launched every day, and these sites can provide great back-links for your blog.

When you write a great post, bookmark it on several sites. These sites are very popular, and they help people to find your content.

So there you have it - four ways to get traffic to your blog fast. You'll get fresh readers and subscribers almost instantly.

Menacing Splogs – How To Fight Them!

Splogs or rather Spam Blogs are artificially created weblogs which are used to promote or to increase the search engine rankings of affiliated or associated sites. The purpose of a splog can be to increase the PageRank or backlink portfolio of affiliate websites, to artificially inflate paid ad impressions from visitors, and/or use the blogs as a link outlet to get new sites indexed. The term Splog first came into being around mid-August 2005, when it was used publicly by Mark Cuban. Splog topics often make very little sense and are so wide-ranging they can be hard to pinpoint. But why do sploggers do it? How do you know if you've been splogged? And what can you do to stop it? Here are a few tips for fighting Splog:

Step 1: Finding out if you're being Splogged – Splogs often lift contents from other real blogs. This helps to increase the PageRank of the Splog and also generate better ad revenues for them. However, this might pretty well cause the PageRank of the original blogs to drop. Moreover, due to association with spam, the original blogs' reputation and goodwill gets hampered.

One good way to find out if a particular blog is being ripped off is by subscribing to news feeds at search engines IceRocket.com and Technorati.com. When search terms like the name of the original blogs, the blogger's name or the blog URL is used, it would show what other blogs say about them and also in the process detect the splogs.

Step 2: Report Splogs – Splogs might just be the 'another little annoying stuff' going on across the internet, but they might have far-reaching results. If most of the search terms are filled with splogs, finding another thing in the blogosphere would never be the same.

Hence, splogs need to be reported to the authorities as soon as they are sighted, for the sake of a clean blogosphere. For a splog hosted in the Blogger.com platform, reporting is quite easy. Clicking the flag button on the top right of the navbar notifies the Blogger.com authorities about the splog. However, in case the splogs are hosted elsewhere, the respective authorities need to be directly informed. Also there are plenty of other sites nowadays, like SplogReporter.com which can be used to report these splogs. Moreover, if the splog has Google ads on it, the site can be reported to Google's AdSense program, and the account could be revoked.

Step 3: Remove Spam Comments and Trackbacks – Sploggers sometime comments on other blogs with a link to the splogs expecting a boost the splog's PageRank. It's always better to have a good comment moderation system, and whenever such comments and Trackbacks are noticed, they should immediately be removed.

Blogger.com and Movable Type 3.2 have already started taking stern steps to prevent splogs. It's time we should identify and join hands to fight these menace called splogs and help blogosphere be a better community.

Blog Marketing Tips - How To Use Technorati To Increase Your Traffic

If you are using a blog on your website and you are not optimising it with Technorati you are missing out on a huge source of unlimited free traffic and potential customers. It costs nothing and is so easy to implement that there really is no excuse for not using it.

Technorati is a search engine specifically for blogs and it works by allowing bloggers to tag their posts with relevant keywords so that the content appears in the results pages when those keywords are searched. It gives you full control over where your content should appear on the website and you only have to wait a few days for it to be indexed.

There are three categories on the website, the first is "blog posts" which finds any posts that contain the search term, the second is "tags" which finds individual posts that are tagged with the search term, and the third is "blog directory" which finds individual blogs that are tagged with the search term.

The first thing you will need to do is create a free account on the Technorati website which only takes a few minutes to do and you will then be able to list every post on your entire blog and other members will be able to add your blog to their list of favourites.

As more people link to your blog and add you to their list of favourites your ranking will increase and so will the traffic you receive. This is important because there is a huge amount of free traffic available if you can improve your rankings so you need to create a free account and register your blog to benefit from the incoming links you will receive.

Every time you post new content on your blog you will need to tag it using a special link which will help Technorati categorise your content and group all posts with the same tag together with the most recent at the top. Whenever someone searches for the keyword phrase that you have used for your tag your post will appear in the results pages of the Technorati website.

There is no limit to how many tags you can use but if you use too many your blog can start to look ugly so its best to use less than ten. To help save space you can use the smallest font size available for your tags and you can also use anchor text so that only a few words will show and not each link.

Its also very important that you use relevant tags for each post that you make on your blog because you don't want to risk losing your account for targeting unrelated topics. There really is no point in using unrelated tags because the traffic you will receive will not be interested in your content because its not what they were looking for.

Another feature you will want to use on your blog is the link for people to add you to their list of favourites and its best if you place it in the side bar of your blog either by using anchor text or by using an image. The more people who favourite your blog and the more incoming links you get will increase your authority score (which improves your rankings).

The last thing to remember is that the success of your blog will depend on how good your content is so its essential that you only use high quality articles that are relevant to your website. To make it profitable you should customise your blog with recommendations for products or Google Adsense ads. You can also add a subscription form in the side bar if you want to collect leads for your opt in list.

Air Supply in Lakeville, PA 5-13-07 - Continues Love Zone Tour and Enters the 'Land of Love'

"You are now entering the Land of Love" is what the sign read at Caesar's Cove Haven Resort. Located on Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos, the resort caters to couples honeymooning, couples renewing their vows or couples wanting to share a romantic weekend. From the tandem bicycles to the heart-shaped, red Jacuzzi tubs, love is the theme and the only thing on the minds of these lovebirds. Who better to honor the traditions of love with romantic music filled with memories than Air Supply? And to top it off, it was Mother's Day.

Different from most shows open to the general public, this concert was primarily for guests of Cove Haven as part of their all-inclusive package. It isn't hard to imagine, then, that the majority of the audience had a partner cuddling them as they sat and watched the show.

The show on Sunday night began at the late hour of 10:00. Graham Russell did not open the show with songs from The Future, as at this event, there actually was an opening act! It was disappointing not to hear Graham sing The Future, Make You Mine and Lace & Leather, but my mood was quickly lifted as Air Supply opened the show immediately with Even the Nights Are Better -- quite a fitting song for this crowd! "…Even the nights are better, since I found you!" The audience clearly agreed, and Air Supply received a standing ovation after just the first song!

Next came Just As I am, A Little Bit Of Everything and Here I Am, which were each Air Supply perfect! As at recent shows, Graham took a moment to respectfully introduce the audience to Jed Moss' classical background and Jed performed about a minute of Chopin. Not only is Jed impressive, watching Graham, Russell Hitchcock, Jonni Lightfoot and Mike Zerbe become completely absorbed in Jed's performance is a sight to behold. Jed's performance was immediately followed by Faith In Love.

Prior to singing Two Less Lonely People In The World Graham and Russell talked a tiny bit about their meager beginnings in Australia many years ago. Rather than expand on this story as they frequently do, they chose to 'play to the audience', which was, of course, made up of couples. Graham encouraged couples to hug and cuddle, and actually asked everyone to give their partner a big kiss – stating that the winner would win a weekend with Russell! I think Russell has a lot of long weekends on his agenda because long smooches could be heard, and seen, throughout the showroom! I'm not sure there was a clear winner, except for each of the couples who was there!

Russell and Graham then came out into the audience for The One That You Love and surprisingly, they were not swarmed by fans! Instead, Russell and Graham calmly made their way through the audience and Russell took the opportunity to touch as many people's hearts and lives as he could. After all, love was in the air. Returning to the stage, Air Supply then sang Lost In Love.

Russell typically invites the audience to come closer to the stage, just before he sings Making Love Out Of Nothing At All. Given the table and chair set up, Russell said that people could come down but he was afraid they might get crushed. Although he did invite couples to stand up, I think they preferred sitting and cuddling with their partners. Russell also offered a special dedication to all the mothers in the audience, commenting how much he missed even his own.

All Out Of Love was the show's closer and people were truly wanting more. Walking out to the Meet & Greet line, it was clear that everyone wanted a chance to meet Air Supply and take the opportunity to let them know how much their music has meant to them throughout their lives.

The last time Air Supply was at Cove Haven was more than five years ago, and many said they were long overdue for a visit. Judging from the crowd's response to Sunday night's show, I'm guessing it won't take another five years to bring Air Supply back to the Poconos.

I don't typically tell personal stories or share fan photos in my review, but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Graham and Russell for touching the lives of friends Charles and Missy in a very profound way. Graham's and Russell's generosity of spirit and commitment meant the world to them. It will always be remembered and looked upon with great love, and they thank you dearly.

As always, thanks go out to Sparky, Brett, Moe, Mark and Nate for all that you do. Your dedication and professionalism never go unnoticed.
